Iraqi President Fouad Massoum said on Wednesday that Iraq is keen to foster political and military relations with Serbia, welcoming support provided by friendly countries to combat terror.
Massoum made the remarks during a meeting with Serbian Defense Minister Bratislav Gasic.
For his part, Gasic expressed his country's willingness to provide more military aid to the Iraqi army and improve infrastructure of the Iraqi state.
The Serbian minister added that he agreed with Iraqi Defense Minister Khaled Obeidi to form joint military committee to boost bilateral cooperation.
