Iraq reiterated on Tuesday its stance on supporting the political solution to the crisis in Syria and rejecting foreign interference in Syria\'s internal affairs. Iraqi Vice President, Khudeir al-Khuzai, stressed in a speech at the Arab League Summit being held in Doha that Iraq\'s firm stance on the crisis in Syria which is based on supporting the legitimate aspirations of the Syrian people and rejecting foreign interference. He also voiced support to the efforts of UN Envoy to Syria, Lakhdar Brahimi, to resolve the crisis in Syria peacefully. Al-Khuzai reminded of article No 8 of the Arab League Charter which states that the Arab League member countries are obliged to respect the sovereignty of other member states. Iraq..
