The Iraqi aviation and the US-led alliance Monday carried out 95 air sorties which targeted sites of Daesh terrorist group in various areas in Iraq.
The US-led alliance started bombing Daesh targets in Syria in September as part of a strategy aimed at rolling back the group’s territorial gains in Syria and Iraq.
Clashes between Iraqi forces and the militant group have also been ongoing since June 2014 when the armed group seized Mosul and other territories in Iraq.
