The Iraqi Air Force, in cooperation with the US-led coalition, has conducted 97 air strikes against Daesh.

The airstrikes targeted Daesh sites in Anbar, Salahuddin, Kirkuk and Nineveh provinces, a statement by the Iraqi army said Friday.

Scores of Daesh terrorists were killed and a number of the group's vehicles and hideouts were destroyed in the airstrikes.

In Salahuddin, Iraqi security forces managed to defuse 23 explosive charges and kill a number of terrorists after clashes.
