An Iraqi official says that a colonel in Iraqi army and a teacher were gunned down Thursday by unknown gunmen in two separate incidents places in Mosul, 390 km north of Baghdad. In a third incident, three soldiers were injured when a roadside bomb ripped through their vehicle in the north of the city, the official added.
