Iraqi Interior Minister Mohammed Salem al Ghabban met Sunday with Australian Secret Intelligence Service (ASIS) Chief Nick Warner.
The meeting, which was attended by Australia's Ambassador to Iraq Leendul Sakstook, took up bilateral cooperation in the field of combating terror.
Warner lauded the efforts of the Iraqi government and the Interior Ministry to combat Daesh.
Australia has taken measure to prevent Australian extremists from traveling to join Daesh, Warner pointed out.
