Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Abadi will discuss in Berlin with US President Barack Obama Iraq's urgent military needs during its current war against Daesh.

The meeting, held on the sidelines of the Group of 7, will discuss coordination with Washington at the military and economic levels, said a spokesperson for the Iraqi government.

Abadi seeks further support from the group for his country, added the spokesman.
