Iraqi President Fuad Maasoom today welcomed the Security Council resolution taken yesterday to dry up the finance sources feeding terror groups, including Daesh.
A presidential statement quoted Maasoom as saying the Security Council resolution represents an essential step on the way to eradicate the terror danger in the Middle East and the world at large.
The Security Council decided unanimously to work to dry up the financing springheads of ISIS and other terror organizations who siphon money from oil and antiquities selling and accepting ransoms.
