Iraqi Parliament Speaker Salim al Jabouri called Monday on the United States to continue providing air support and arming the Iraqi forces in the fight against Daesh and other terrorist groups.

Jabouri made the appeal during his meeting with the US ambassador to Iraq Stuart E. Jones.

The two sides discussed the international cooperation in the face of Daesh and the latest security developments in Iraq.
