Prime minister Enda kenny

Ireland’s prime minister Enda Kenny has announced that the Republic’s general election will take place on the last Friday of this month, and vowed that he will not allow the Irish economy’s fragile recovery to turn into another boom to bust cycle.

According to The Guardian, bookmakers, political scientists and election number crunchers predict that Kenny will make history by being returned as the PM at the end of this month.

He would become the first Fine Gael premier to win back-to-back general elections.
