Bomb attack that hit the Saudi city of Abha

The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) on Friday strongly condemned a bomb attack that hit the Saudi city of Abha where a number of security forces were killed.

In a statement, the ISESCO expressed solidarity with Riyadh in its fight against terrorist groups who violate the essence of human rights and the teachings of Islam.

A powerful bomb went off in the mosque of the Interior Ministry's special forces in the city of Abha (the administrative center of Asir province) in the southwest of Saudi Arabia.

Fifteen people were killed and twelve others were injured. The attack was committed by a suicide bomber.
