Over 300 leaders of Islamic unions and institutions in France participated on Sunday in an anti-terror rally.

The rally was held at the headquarters of the Arab World Institute in Paris at the request of the French Council of the Muslim Faith (CFCM).

The council's chairman said Paris terrorist attacks could not be linked to any religion or humanitarian values.

He called on the international community to unite in the face of terrorism.

Protests have been banned in France following the coordinated terrorist attacks that targeted Paris on November 13, killing 130 and injuring 350 others.
