Israel allowed on Monday a group of Palestinians to visit their imprisoned family members in Rimon Prison. Local radio stations said the group which consists of 90 Palestinians, with 13 children among them, left Gaza earlier today under the care of officials of the Red Cross, to visit about 50 imprisoned Palestinians held in said facility. Israel also allowed, for the first time, children under eight years of age to visit their family members in Israeli prisons in the first weekend of the current month. Israel had previously banned visits by family members to about 470 prisoners for as long as six years. Visits were only resumed a few months ago.
