The Israeli military has begun calling up reserve soldiers as part of a Northern Command exercise that was planned ahead of time for 2015, the Jerusalem Post quoted the Israeli army as saying on Sunday morning.

The exercise comes a day after the army said residents of the Galillee may hear blasts as part of a military exercise taking place in the North.
