Israeli occupying authorities have released the Palestinian Mufti of Jerusalem Sheikh Mohammed Hussein just after several hours of arresting him for allegedly inciting disturbances in occupied Palestinian territories. An Israel police spokesman said the mufti of Jerusalem, Mohammed Hussein, was released on Wednesday afternoon. Earlier in the day, Israeli police detained Hussein following disturbances on Tuesday at a hilltop compound in Jerusalem\'s Old City. The arrest of the Palestinian cleric sparked wide-scale Palestinian, Arab and international condemnation.
