A Palestinian young man was killed by Israeli forces after stabbing an Israeli soldier in East Jerusalem.

The 18-year-old youth of Hebron governorate was taken to the hospital in a critical condition and died there of his wounds, according to the Palestinian news agency.

The Israeli forces fired seven bullets at the young man after stabbing a 20-year-old Israeli soldier near Bab el Amoud area.

The forces fired sound bombs to disperse Palestinians who gathered after the Palestinian was gunned down.
