Israel on Friday offered long-term hunger striker Samer Issawi a deal to exile him to a UN member country, Israeli spokesman said.Ofir Gendelman, a spokesman for the Israeli Prime Minister\'s Office, said that an offer was presented to exile Issawi for health reasons.He added that \"the EU and UN who demanded his release declined to find a country that will accept him.\"The Palestinian minister of detainees told Ma’an that Issawi, who has been on hunger strike for over 265 days, rejected the offer and insists on returning to his hometown, Jerusalem.
