Israeli decided to exceptionally opened Karam Abu Salem crossing on Friday to pump fuel into the Gaza Strip, head of border crossings for the Palestinian Authority, Nazmi Mehana said in a press release on Thursday.

The Israeli authorities ttok the decision to allow more fuel into the enclave, he added.

Karam Abu Salem is considered to be the only commercial crossing through which goods and fuel enter into Gaza, but Israeli authorities close it every week on Friday and Saturday.
