The Israeli government announced plans to build a security ‘separation wall’ along its southern borders with Jordan, Israel’s only frontier that does not yet feature a fence.

The Israeli mini cabinet decided to build the wall stretching for 30 km along the Jordanian borders, the Israeli public radio quoted Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as saying.

The wall will be built inside the Israeli lands and will not affect the sovereignty of Jordan, Netanyahu had said.
