Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday that his administration was ready to get back to negotiations with Palestinians, as long as there are no preconditions. Netanyahu was speaking at the beginning of the weekly cabinet session and said that the results of any negotiations will be presented to the inhabitants of Israel. He stressed that Israel will not “compromise” on its security in any deal. In related news, US Secretary of State John Kerry met for the second time in two days with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas as part of the US administration’s efforts to revive peace talks.
