Israeli occupation authorities on Sunday reopened the Karam Abu Salim commercial crossing in Gaza Strip after a closure of 6 consecutive days. Coordinator of the committee devoted to the entry of commercial goods into the Gaza Strip, Ra’ed Fotouh, said that Israeli authorities opened the crossing today for 340 trucks laden with goods for the commercial and agricultural sectors. He added that Israel will resume the closure next Monday and Tuesday. Karem Abu Salem crossing is currently the only point for Gazans to transfer their goods, especially after Israeli decision to close permanently Al-Montar crossing which was dedicated for the import of fuel and food.
