Chairman of the Coordinating Committee of Gaza's Supplies Raed Fattouh has said that the Israeli liaison informed them that the israeli office will close the Karam Abu Salem crossing as of next Sunday and for several days in the months of September and October under the pretext of the Jewish holidays. The crossing will be closed on September 16, 17, 18, 25, 26 and 30. It also will be closed on October 1, 7 and 8. On Thursday morning, the Israeli authorities opened the Karam Abu Salem Crossing to allow the entry of 350 truckloads of aids and goods for both commercial and private sectors in addition to limited quantities of cooking gas. Karam Abu Salem, the only commercial crossing operating in Gaza, is closed every Friday and Saturday by the Israeli occupation authorities.
