Israeli authorities Wednesday notified Palestinian residents of the village of Kufr Qaleel, south of the West Bank city of Nablus, of their intentions to take over their private-owned land to be used for military purposes, according to a local activist. Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlement activities in the north of the West Bank, told WAFA that Israeli authorities handed the land owners notices to take over around 380 dunums of their land.
