Israeli police arrested on Sunday a bus driver from Negev region of southern Israel who was moving 55 Palestinian workers to Israel to work without obtaining work permits .

In a press release, Israeli police said the arrested man was smuggling the Palestinian workers for about 250 Shekel (62 dollars) each.

Israeli forces returned back the workers to the West Bank after interrogating them.

Israeli statistics say that about 100,000 Palestinians from the West Bank are working in Israel in which about 40 percent of them did not obtain work permits.
