Israel started an ordinary demining activities in the southern Jordanian-Israeli border, according to the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF). An official source in JAF said that the de-mining process started last Sunday and will last for two months. The activities will be taking place from 7:00 am until 6.30 pm. “The Israeli authorities were informed by the Jordanian government to take into account the use of an agreed-upon quantities of explosives to preserve the safety of citizens and populations in the surrounding areas” the source added.
