Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon stormed on Tuesday into Ibrahimi Mosque in the West Bank city of Hebron.

During the heavily escorted 30-minute storming, no one was allowed in or out the holy shrine, said the mosque director.

Monzer Abul Villat deplored the storming operation as falling within the Israeli police meant to turn the mosque into a synagogue.

He warned of the repercussions of Israeli settlers' attacks on the mosque.
