Jenin - WAFA
Israeli forces at dawn Monday broke into a mosque in the village of Fahma, south of Jenin and photographed it, according to local sources. Head of Fahma village council Mohammad Nawasreh told WAFA that Israeli soldiers broke into al-Taqwa mosque under the pretext of searching for a stone that has Hebrew inscriptions on it, and photographed the inside of the mosque. Nawasreh stressed that this is a false claim and that the mosque was originally a building built in the Roman times, and was later renovated and turned into a mosque.
