Ramallah - MENA
Israeli forces held Ramallah and Bireh Governor Leila Ghannam at a military checkpoint in northern Jerusalem for two hours on Thursday.
The minister was on her way to attend a rally commemorating the first anniversary of seven-year-old Palestinian boy Mohamed Abu Khodair who was shot dead by Israeli settlers.
No wonder that those who kill childhood and innocence with cold blood would target Palestinian officials especially in light of a dubious international silence, the governor said in a press release.
