Israeli army troops used force Friday to disperse peaceful demonstrations against the Israeli separation barrier and Jewish settlements, injuring a number of Palestinians. A Palestinian and a photographer were injured while other demonstrators inhaled gas of bombs fired by the Israeli forces, the popular committee for the resistance of the barrier and settlement in Bel'ein said in a statement. It added that Israeli forces fired rubber bullets, tear and sound bombs against the West Bank demonstrators who were staging their weekly protest against the separation barrier and settlement as well as marking the 49th anniversary of the Palestinian revolution. Murad Shutaiwi, spokesman of the committee, said the Israeli forces oppressed the weekly demonstration in Bel'ein.
