Israeli forces Sunday set up mobile homes on Palestinian-owned land in Tel Rumeida neighborhood in central Hebron as a step toward expanding the illegal settlement outpost Ramat Shay, according to an official.Abdul Hadi Hantash, an expert on settlements in the Hebron area stated that scores of settlers accompanied by Israeli forces razed a five-dunum of land belonging to Palestinians and planted with almond trees and proceeded to place caravans as well as carried out unauthorized infrastructure work in the area as a prelude to expand the nearby illegal settlement of ‘Ramat Shay’.
