Ramallah - Arab Today
The Israeli government approved on Thursday a decision, allowing the deployment of Israeli snipers in al Quds city to target Palestinian youths, who prevent Israeli soldiers and settlers from storming Al Aqsa mosque.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sought harsher measures against Palestinian stone-throwers during an emergency meeting on Wednesday.
He further urged deploying police snipers with Ruger rifles to target Palestinian youths.
A few hours after the Israeli government gave the green light to do that, an Israeli sniper shot a Palestinian youth on Wednesday night under the pretext of throwing a Molotov cocktail. The Palestinian youth was injured.
