Six Israeli warplanes on Sunday evening flew over the Lebanese airspace in violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701. The Lebanese army said in a release that six Israeli warplanes had breached the Lebanese airspace by flying over south Lebanon. They continued flying over several Lebanese areas before they returned to Israel, it added Under UN Security Council Resolution 1701, passed following the 2006 Israel-Lebanon war, Israeli planes are forbidden from flying over Lebanon.
