Israeli Knesset Speaker Yuli-Yoel Edelstein headed for New York on Thursday to take part in a conference grouping speakers of world parliaments, Radio Israel reported.

Edelstein will hold meetings with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, members of the US Congress and a number of parliament speakers.
