Israeli warjets launched a raid on a Hamas facility in the central Gaza Strip.

Israeli military spokesman, Ovijay Adray, said the raid targeted a Hamas weapons manufacturing facility in retaliation to firing a rocket from the enclave into Israel.

Israel held Hamas - the de facto in Gaza - responsible for any attacks from the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian sources said Israel fired three rockets at a Hamas-affiliated Qassam brigades training post in the central Gaza Strip.

Israel has announced that a rocket fell in a non-residential area on its borders with the enclave. No casualties were reported.
