Israel is tightening up its security measures ahead of US President Barak Obama\'s three-day visit. The measures include the deployment of about 15,000 police officers and security men, acccording to Head of the Operations Division in Israeli Police. General Major Nissim Mor said there have been complete cooperation with the Plestinian Authority regarding Obama\'s first visit to Israel as president, which starts on next Wednesday. \"Security personnel will be on alert around King David Street, where the renowned David Hotel will be hosting the American president and his entourage,\" the Jerusalem Police chief said. He added that some roads and streets will also be closed to traffic while Obama\'s possession is passing by. Obama is also expected to visit the West Bank town of Bethlehem.
