Dozens of Israeli settlers stormed the Prophet Joseph’s Tomb in Nablus after midnight under the protection of the Israeli army and conducted some religious ceremonies in the site, Palestinian witnesses said. Confrontation between Palestinian young men and the occupation forces took place, witnesses from Balata refugee camp said. The witnesses said that the Israeli army surrounded the area of the tomb and sealed off the surrounding streets before they ascend the roofs of some houses and fired tear gas towards the Palestinians. Jewish settlers frequently storm the area where they perform Jewish rituals.
