Israeli settlers on Thursday stormed the eastern part of the West Bank city of Nablus under the protection of Israeli soldiers. Palestinian sources reported that hundreds of Jewish settlers stormed the so-called “Joseph Tomb” and performed religious rituals under the protection of the Israeli military forces. The sources added that the Israeli occupation forces fired tear gas canisters and sound bombs during the clashes. Jewish settlers frequently storm the area from which the Israeli occupation forces withdrew in the year 2000 after fierce clashes with Palestinians.
