Israeli soldiers opened fire on a Palestinian vehicle that attempted to run over soldiers near Bethlehem in the West Bank on Sunday, The Jerusalem Post reported.
The soldiers recognized the vehicle, which came from the direction of the village of Al Khader, accelerating toward them at a checkpoint.
The soldiers then opened fire, successfully hitting the vehicle before it sped away.
They were searching the area for suspects. No soldiers were injured in the incident.
