At least three Palestinians were wounded Saturday night by Israeli gunfire in eastern Gaza near the border with Israel, hospital officials and witnesses said. The witnesses said that the Israeli soldiers opened intensive fire across the border on Gaza residents' homes and injured three people. Ashraf al-Qedra, a Gaza emergency spokesman, told reporters that the injured were taken to Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, adding that they are in moderate conditions. On Friday, a 20-year-old Palestinian was killed and another was injured during clashes between Palestinian youngsters and Israeli soldiers stationed on the border.
