An Israeli warplane Monday fired at least one missile at an empty land northwest of Gaza, according to witnesses. They said that an F16 plane fired a missile targeting an empty land northwest of Gaza. No injuries were reported. Israeli reports said the strike came in retaliation for earlier firing of mortar shells from Gaza into southern Israel. No one was hurt and no damage was caused.
