Gaza - KUNA
Israeli warplanes early on Friday raided a number of targets in Gaza Strip, the Palestinian media reported. An F-16 jet fighter fired a single missile in direction of a location south of Al-Maghazi camp in the strip center, but no injuries were reported. The Israeli aircraft attacked a position of Al-Qassam Brigades of the Islamic Hamas movement in Beit Hanoun town in the north of the enclave. No injuries were reported at the deserted base but glass facade of a nearby mosque was shattered. They also unleashed a single missile on an uninhabited plot of land east of Al-Shujaieh district in Gaza city, inflicting no losses. A spokesman of the Israeli Army said these raids targeted locations for firing missiles and one observation post used by Palestinian factions. "These raids were in retaliation for firing a missile from Gaza in direction of western Negev last night," he added.
