Beirut - QNA
Two Israeli reconnaissance planes flew last night over the Syrian – Lebanese border in the Bekaa district of Rashaya. Sources said that two Israeli planes conducted intensive flights over Kfer Kouk Mountain, Knayseh field, the outskirts of Yanta town and Deir Ashayer field. Israeli warplanes also conducted intensive flights at high altitude over the western and central sectors in the city of Tyre in southern Lebanon, and over the town of Jezzine in southern Lebanon toward the Chouf District of Mount Lebanon. Israel has been intensifying air flights over Lebanon for more than three weeks. More than 30 Israeli reconnaissance planes flew over various Lebanese regions within the past few days in a clear violation of the country’s sovereignty and UN Resolution 1701, adopted in 2006 and called for a full cessation of hostilities between the Israeli army and Hezbollah. Some observers fear of an Israeli security breach in the southern Lebanon, especially after the Israeli entity attacked a military research facility in the neighbouring country, Syria.
