Beirut - NNA
Israeli warplanes violated Lebanon's airspace Sunday, the National News Agency reported. According to the NNA, Israeli planes flew over the southern town of Jezzine up to the Chouf region at 10:40 a.m. Israeli planes, whether reconnaissance crafts or warplanes, violate Lebanon’s airspace almost daily in contravention of Resolution 1701 which ended the 2006 war between the two countries. Lebanon has repeatedly complained to the U.N. regarding such breaches.
