Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi held a meeting Tuesday on the latest developments in Libya, the Italian government said in a statement.
Renzi met with the foreign affairs, interior and defense ministers in addition to intelligence officials, the statement added.
The meeting took up the Italian commitment to strong diplomatic action under the UN and supporting urgent measures to boost stability and peace in Libya.
