Italy strongly condemned on Monday rocket attacks on Syrian city of Aleppo yesterday, which led to death of tens of people, and described it as \"barbaric\" act to which Syrian regime is responsible for, calling for a start of serious political process in Syria to stop violence and solve the crisis. In a statement, Foreign Minister Giulio Terzi said the attack on Aleppo was a horrific and unacceptable act as it targetted the innocent and most defenseless, expressed his strong disappointment of the brutal bombardment of the city of that left dozens dead, including many children and over 150 wounded. Also, Terzi expressed his condolences and solidarity with the families of the victims of what he described as \"abominable barbarism,\" pointing out the irresponsible behavior of the Syrian regime because it did not hesitate to attack its own civilians. He reiterated his country\'s solidarity with the Syrian people, expressing his hope in a credible political process that would lead to the end of the conflict and the start of a transition toward democracy, and the rule of law based on the proposals of the opposition coalition, which is recognized as the legitimate representative of Syrian people.
