Italy condemned the terrorist attacks that targeted army and police soldiers in North Sinai Wednesday morning and killed and wounded scores of them.

In a statement on Wednesday, Italy's foreign ministry expressed condolences to the Egyptian leadership and people.

The statement stressed that Egypt's stability is pillar of stability of the whole region.
