Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni expressed concern over the developments of the Yemeni crisis which he described as a threat to the Saudi security.
Saudi Arabia asserted participation in Hazm Storm operation launched by Arab and Gulf states against the hideouts of the Houthis, also known as Ansar Allah, in Yemen, Gentiloni said.
Italian Foreign Minister pointed out that Gentiloni received a phone call Wednesday from his Saudi counterpart Saud al Faisal.
During the call, Gentiloni asserted that this military operation will not undermine talks efforts supported by the UN.
