Italian Interior Minister Angelino Alfano has said that it would be foolish to consider 1.6 million Muslims living in Italy as supporters of terrorism.

This would be like driving them to sympathize with the terrorist Daesh group, Alfano said in statements Tuesday.

Truly, Europe has committed some mistakes, Alfano acknowledged, stressing that dialogue should be with parties who have opposite views to Europe's. Otherwise it would lead nowhere, he noted.
