The Special Adviser to the United Nations Secretary-General on Yemen, Jamal Benomar, met on Wednesday the Permanent Representatives of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries to the UN, in New York.He briefed them on the outcome of Yemen’s National Dialogue Conference, and highlighted the remaining tasks underlined in the GCC Initiative and the Implementation Mechanism.Mr. Benomar commended the GCC countries for their support to Yemen’s political transition.
