Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said on Saturday that he is not considering dissolving the House of Representatives for a general election, Kyodo news agency reported.

He said no elections would be held to coincide with the triennial House of Councillors election in summer 2016.

The prime minister made the remarks while talking to reporters in the northeastern Japan city of Ichinoseki.
